HackForGood

Evenings of Hacking to make the world a better place

What:

Imagine if, for once, we decided to write software and web applications that do not revolve only around technology, social networking or sharing pictures but rather focused on improving the life of those around us.

The idea behind the HackForGood evenings is to gather great developers from various cities, sit together and write applications that could be used for the greater good and that can help other human beings or the environment depending on the theme of the night.

The rules are very simple. We provide drinks, food, desks, entertainment and all you have to do is have a good time, have a few drinks, eat some food, write some code and enjoy.

When:

Monday 9th of May, 2011 and it starts at 19h00 (7pm) (Book a free ticket now)

Bring:

Bring your best altruistic ideas, your laptops and your power adapters and we'll provide the rest. If you need an actual Ethernet cable please let us know beforehand so we can call the year 1990 and ask them to bring a cable on their way back from the past (If you need a cable please do let us know. :)).

It goes without saying that Wifi will be provided.

Where:

At the Orchestra.io San Francisco offices in the Storek building at 149 9th St.
